Its gentle and keeps my face from becoming oily. I don't even use moisturizer and my skin is clear enough that I don't even need foundation. Of course, as soon as I stop washing twice a day all my acne comes back. From my experience, just get a simple face wash and dedicatedly wash twice a day. Like I said, Neutrogena Oil Free Face Wash works fine and its cheap. But I also really like that Morningburst stuff. Its smells really good, its gentle, and works very well too. It works great and is simple, its just a pad that you can wipe your face with. I also use clean and clear morning burst daily, then apply a light lotion. I've used Oil of Olay since day one, the original bottle. I use less than 'smaller than a dime size'. I also don't use liquid foundation.
