Using a foundation is not advisable for monsoon makeup instead a slight powder will do. Sheer films are also best as monsoon makeup. The sheer colors can be light brown, pastel, pink or beige cream eye shadow that can be used as well with eyeliners with thick lines. For lipstick, soft matte is the most preferable one for the ladies. It can be a pink shade or soft brown with sheer gloss.

The main reason is because the rain will cause it to wash off. Instead, be sure to opt for a long lasting lipstick. You can really wear whatever shade of long lasting lipstick you prefer, but remember that it is always best to go natural during any time of the year. Since most people do not tend to overdress during monsoon season, you will probably want to choose shades of pinks, browns or peaches. Reds and bolder colors can easily be worn at night, however.
Grow your eyebrows out before the monsoon season comes.
That way, you will not need to worry about using an eyebrow pencil to achieve the eyebrows that you are interested in. An eyebrow pencil may also wash off your face during monsoon season, which is probably something that you may be too embarrassed by to want to experience. The best thing that you can do is pluck, trim or wax your eyebrows to get the design that you want.
Preparing the Base
Base of makeup is prepared by foundation. If you can do without it, nothing is better than that. If necessary, apply as little as possible. If you apply cream foundation, it gets melt with water easily. Powder foundations are better than this. Face powder is even better.
You can use silicon base foundation as it gets blended with skin and becomes its part. On the other hand, if you use water-based foundation, it will get patchy with even one drop of water. You can apply just moisturizer and then translucent powder. Do not apply excess of powder; instead use it sparingly because when wet it gives sickly and chalky look.
