Can you use MAC eyeshadows (not the pigment ones, the pressed ones) as a luminizer when mixed in moisturizer?

The pigments are too shimmery for me and some of the pressed eyeshadow shades are some that I want to apply on my skin in matte. My friend crushed the MAC Pressed Powder Eyeshadow and she mixed it with foundation. At first, I wuz like, "What are u doing"? And she said it works! And that it doesn't cause breakouts! Does anybody no if it really does work? Is it safe? She even uses the pink pressed eyeshadow shades as blush when crushed into minerals!

You can, but some eyeshadows have oils in them, which can irritate the skin and cause breakouts. It all depends on your skin type. I actually use mineral shimmers. I use my old makeup bottles (you know the ones where your foundation is almost gone) and i put in moisturizer, and the minerals, then apply it over my foundation with a travel foundation brush. Works like a charm.
