Our 2 year old has pink itchy eyes for 2 weeks, apparently not conjunctivitis, any other ideas?
- woke one morning with a swollen and pinkish eye, especially in the area below the eye. then it resolved in about a day.
- itched both eyes a lot over the following week or 2, even though they looked ok.
- woke today with the other eye pinkish and swollen, then started going away.
- not classic conjunctivis because no discharge at all.
- anyone ever see this?
Could be seasonal allergies. If it keeps up go to Dr. to see if there are any drops for him/her. Conjunctivitis can also be from a viral infection and sometimes there is no discharge.
