If you have oily areas around your eyes, these are perfect as a good primer and base. It really brings out the color and you don’t get any creasing. Lasts long. Great to use by itself as a color or to build upon. Use Painterly if you are fair skinned for great primer.

I’ve tried many different eyeshadow primers and bases, and this was suggested to me by the MAC artist during one of trips to MAC. I have oily skin and my shadows almost always crease, and so far this is the only product to stop that. I purchased this as a base in the color “Painterly” and it works fabulous! It goes on smooth, and creates a nice even tone under the shadow. Eyeshadow applied on top of it looks more true to color and intesifies. Paint Pots are water resistant, and if I have used this, after an 8 hour day, I do not usually have any creasing. On some occasions I have had some, but it is very minimal. I used to use the Prep & Prime eye, but now prefer the Paint Pots. This is one of my daily makeup “must haves”.
