I use exfoliating face wash every day and I have never broke out before, I don’t know what it is that is causing it but it IS BAD! I got zits all over my face, so I can’t use it any longer, and I’m out 20 bux. Bummer.

It does not live up to the name of “home microdermabrasion”
On similar term,Origins Modern Friction Nature’s Gentle Dermabrasion Face Scrub is much better.
For oily skins with blackheads or breakouts,i suggest Ionax scrub(Healthpoint).Trustworthy and affordable.

OK here’s the exfoliating lesson for the day: there are primarily two types of exfoliating products. One is the chemical kind (salicylic acid is merely one example). The other is the abrasive kind – either with an appliance such as a rough pad or a brush or even a washcloth, or with a product containing an abrasive ingredient such as the microdelivery exfoliating wash I am reviewing here.
I personally prefer the chemical types of exfoliating products. They don’t have little bits of grit that get everywhere. But the chemical kinds can be more difficult to control, especially at when starting with a new product. For that reason I completely understand why someone would choose an abrasive product.
As the abrasives go, this is a good one. The grit is fine so your face won’t get stripped. The soap has a very gentle and non drying lather which makes it pretty safe for most people. It rinses easily which is no small feat for an abrasive – usually I need to take a shower to get all that stuff off my face and that is not the case with the microdelivery.
This is a great product for someone with normal to slightly oily or dry skin seeking an abrasive product. It may seem pricey but as they say, “a little goes a long way.”
I would not recommend the microdelivery for anyone with extremely oily skin because it isn’t going to give the cleansing result you seek unless you wash with this twice per session at the sink. I also would not recommend it for extremely dry skin because an abrasive exfoliating product will typically not give even results and that would leave you with a flaky face.

For those of us who not only want clean faces but also want a good scrubbing we have the perfect medium: the microdelivery exfoliating wash. This product was made for daily use and does an excellent job resurfacing or ‘buffering’ the skin. In our search for baby soft skin philosophy produces many fine exfoliant products. This, aside from their exfoliant kits, is the best because it has enough scrubbing crystals to deliver immediate results in 30 seconds. This is not a smell-good product so don’t expect perfune. One word of caution; let the wash scrub for you. Don’t rub too long or too hard. It isn’t necessary. I once heard the President of philosophy say she didn’t want to spend much time on her skin…she wanted immediate results. This is an answer from her. And for those who love a good scrubbing you have your wishes granted.
