Philosophy, makeup optional skincare kit

this was my first philosophy purchase but i decided to get it because i have heard so many great things about the company. overall i am very happy with the products and it is a great value to by them in the kit. the face wash is great!! It is very light and cleans well without drying out my skin, i also have combination skin and it has not made me breakout and has not made me oily, which it great. the hope in a jar moisturizer is nice, it is pretty light also and works well without being greasy. the hope is not enough serum smells horrible, it smells like some kind of herbal oil or something but luckily once it dries on the face you cant smell it anymore, i does work good too, if i use it on a regular basis it helps clear up any blemishes i have without drying my skin out. the hope in a tube is very nice i only use it around my eyes though and not my lips because it is kind of greasy and dont like the feeling of it around my lips. the best part of this is the samples of microdermabrasion packets. after you use these your skin feels so soft and refreshed and looks brighter. I am defineltly going to be getting this stuff even though it is a bit pricey! and it smells wonderful, like lemon cream! I am happy with my purchase but i just wish for the price that you pay, they could get some better smells for some of there products

I am 58 but I have great line less skin–due to sun protection all of my life and good genes. I ran out of my “Makeup Optional” kit last May and thought I could just go out and buy a drugstore brand instead of spending $78 during this recession. Wrong! I regret not reordering the kit because my skin developed so many problems and I have struggled for almost a year to get it back to normal. I have never even had a pimple in my life so, I had no experience in solving skin problems.

Within a couple of weeks of not using the kit I developed dermatitis, pimples and a strange rash on each side of my mouth. I ended up buying more brands of skin stuff and yet it kept getting worse. Nothing helped.

Finally, running out of ideas I decided to get an appt. with a dermatologist. The wait is 3 months! In the meantime, I got an email from Philosophy offering $10 off with free shipping and I jumped at that offer. I was curious if going back to the kit would be a solution but also I had been warned that my derm appt. would be costly!

Within 3 days of using the kit–my skin is showing signs of returning to normal. I am shocked but grateful that this is happening. I find it hard to believe that these products can get rid of the things that were troubling my face/skin but it’s true. I am canceling the dermatologist appointment.

I had a patch on my face that was so tender, red, and the skin itself was becoming a different texture than the rest of my face and it just hurt! Now, that patch is beginning to turn around and every day it looks more and more like healthy skin. I thought the Hope in a jar and the Purity wash would burn it like everything else had but no, there is no reaction at all except that it looks better now.

So, if your skin has become a mess, try this kit. I would not have believed these products could actually heal skin had I not ended up with skin problems this past year.

It took a few days for me to see results, but after like the 4th day of use I woke up, looked in the mirror and was dumbfounded! I was very suprised to see that the product claims were true. My skin was definitely smoother & more pores were hardly noticeable. I have to admit that I was skeptical & hesitant to spend this much money. The only complaint I have is the smell of the Hope in a Jar moisturizer. It has lactic acid in it so the smell isn’t that pleasant, but it doesn’t keep me from using it daily.
